Earning money isn’t just about chores or selling lemonade. There are SO many ways you can earn — especially by doing things you’re already great at! 🎉
Let’s look at 3 awesome earning categories:
📚 Reading – Some families give “Reading Rewards.” You can earn money (or points) for finishing books, writing book reviews, or reading aloud to siblings. It builds your brain and your bank!
🎨 Creating – Are you crafty, artistic, or good with a camera? You can sell drawings, make bracelets, create printable art, bake cookies, or design cards. If you love making stuff, that’s a gift — and people will pay for it!
🙌 Helping – Maybe you’re amazing with little kids, tech stuff, or organizing. Helping your neighbor carry groceries, cleaning out someone’s garage, or tutoring a younger kid can be jobs you get paid for.
The best part? When you earn by doing what you love, it doesn’t even feel like work!

Paper or a whiteboard
Markers
Family or friends to help brainstorm
What to Do:
Each person writes their name on a piece of paper.
Everyone else writes 1–2 ideas of how that person could earn money using their talents.
